Simon Lewis | Senior Physiotherapist PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Simon enjoys helping with people living with chronic pain understand their bodies and return to activities they love.
Simon Lewis is a physiotherapist who helps people regain control of their lives when persistent pain or physical decline has begun to limit what they can do. Many of the people Simon works with have been living with pain for months or years and are looking for a different approach after other treatments have not provided lasting change.
Simon has been working in health and fitness for more than 15 years. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education, and has worked as a personal trainer, teacher, and physiotherapist across Ballarat, Melbourne, and the Grampians region.
He has undertaken further training in the management of complex and persistent pain, completing a Professional Certificate in Pain Sciences through Pain Revolution as part of a national scholarship program. Simon has also contributed to national research projects exploring psychologically informed physiotherapy for chronic pain and improving access to specialist physiotherapy services in rural and regional communities.
Simon’s approach focuses on helping people better understand their pain and gradually rebuild confidence, strength, and physical capacity. Rather than simply treating symptoms, his work combines education, movement, and practical strategies to help people return to the activities and roles that matter most to them.
