Special interest in fitness and injury rehabilitation
Nathan’s journey started 12 years ago when he discovered his passion for fitness and injury rehabilitation. Since then he has gone on to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science (University of the Sunshine Coast), Graduate Diploma in Exercise for Rehabilitation (Victoria University) and finally a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree (University of Melbourne).
Before returning to Ballarat, Nathan worked full-time at Maribyrnong Sports Academy in Melbourne. Here he worked as the rehabilitation coordinator for 3 years in which time he worked closely with numerous physiotherapists and strength and conditioning coaches to develop preventative and rehabilitation programs for the 500+ athletes from over 30 different sports.
More recently, Nathan became the first ONERO® trained physiotherapist in the Ballarat region. Together with the other ONERO® team at One Life, currently run over 30 ONERO® classes per week at our gym in Alfredton.
Nathan has a passion for improving peoples quality of life in anyway – whether it be an athlete looking for the edge or a grandparent playing with their grandchildren – it’s all important as we only have one life, so make the most of it!
