Samantha Bennetts MYOTHERAPIST
Helping those with Chronic Pain
Sam is a dedicated and experienced Clinical Myotherapist with a Bachelor of Health Science in Myotherapy. With a strong background as a massage therapist, Sam has honed her skills in alleviating pain and improving the overall well-being of her clients.
Sam loves to treat all aspects of the body, including chronic and acute pain as well as minor and major injuries. Her approach is rooted in a deep understanding of the musculoskeletal system and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
As a Myotherapist, Sam uses a range of techniques to help people achieve their goals. These include dry needling, cupping, mobilisations, manual lymphatic drainage and massage.
Sam has a specialised interest in treating jaw-related issues, recognising that pain and dysfunction in the jaw can lead to severe headaches and other discomforts. The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) can be a significant source of pain, often contributing to headaches, neck pain, and shoulder discomfort. TMJ disorders can stem from a variety of factors, including misalignment of the teeth, stress, teeth grinding, or arthritis.
Outside of her professional life, Sam enjoys playing hockey, spending time with her friends and family, and immersing herself in a good book. She brings the same level of dedication and enthusiasm to her hobbies as she does to her practice, making her a well-rounded and empathetic practitioner.
