The list of benefits from regular exercise is long. In fact, recent research has suggested that if doctors could give a pill with the same benefits as exercise it would be the most prescribed medication in the world!

The National Physical Activity Guidelines in Australia recommend that each week adults participate in 2.5 to 5 hours of moderate intensity physical activity, 1.25 to 2.5 hours of vigorous intensity physical activity, or some combination of the two. They also include muscle strengthening exercises on at least 2 days of the week. This doesn’t mean everyone has to become a gym junkie – there are many ways to do muscle strengthening exercises at home with minimal equipment.

Our exercise programming professionals can design a program that is tailored specifically to your goals, preferences, and equipment access. They have experience assisting people recover from injury and surgery, prepare for a special event, or simply stay active into later life to play with grand or great grand kids.
